Hi all, I’m still alive and will have some new content up on this site soon, but I am getting married this week and am so insanely busy that I am not going to be very productive.

So I will be out for this week and probably next.  I will still be twittering and should be doing that pretty frequently these couple weeks in my personal life. You can get updates on that here

Welcome to Madbuntu.com.  This site aims to provide information for linux users of all skill levels.  While I personally use Ubuntu and love it, I will be sharing tips about other flavors as well.  We will also dive into some security, networking, and web applications since so much of our processing is “in the cloud”.

I have personally been running Ubuntu as my primary OS for over a year and have not missed Windows at all.  On top of that I have been a unix admin professionally for over 10 years and currently work in network security for a multinational corporation.  More about me and my blog can be found here.  So without further ado, lets jump right in.
